Community Code of Conduct

Global Families is a traditional, family-centered community. We value family, respect, courtesy and good citizenship.

We live in The Woodlands, and we honor its way of life. Every member is expected to know, respect and follow the laws, customs and traditions of The Woodlands and the United States. We welcome the cultures our families bring, and we ask that they be shared in a way that respects our local community and its traditions.

All members, Ambassadors, businesses and guests agree to:

  1. Be respectful and courteous, online and at every gathering. No harassment, insults or discrimination.
  2. Keep it non-partisan. We celebrate traditions and help families settle in; we do not take sides on political issues or promote political or religious causes.
  3. Protect each other's privacy. Never share another member's information outside our community, and never photograph or post other people's children without their parents' permission.
  4. No selling or spamming. The directory and messages are for connecting, not for unsolicited marketing. Businesses share offers only through their Business Directory listing.
  5. Follow the rules of each venue and our hosts' instructions at events.
  6. Report concerns to globalfamiliesofthewoodlands@gmail.com.
If the Code is not followed, Global Families may, at its sole discretion, give a warning, remove a listing from the directories, or end a membership.
